TINNITUS CAUSE: SENSORINEURAL HEARING LOSS
Sensorineural hearing loss is a condition in which sound reaches the inner ear but a person is unable to process it properly. This type of hearing loss occurs because of a problem in the inner ear, the cochlear nerve, or rarely, a problem within the brain. The most common cause of sensorineural hearing loss is due to damage of the tiny hair cells of the inner ear, located along the cochlear nerve in the cochlea. These hairs carry information about hearing, which is interpreted by the brain. Damage or infection to these hairs are a very common cause of ear ringing Tinnitus head noises.
The vestibular nerve carries information related to balance on to the brain. These two nerves are connected and together are called the vestibulocochlear nerve, or commonly called the auditory nerve. This nerve can be damaged with age or from repeated exposure to loud noise, referred to as acoustic trauma and resulting in associated Tinnitus head noise symptoms. Nerves that relay sound impulses can become damaged as a result of disease (such as multiple sclerosis), having a stroke, or from a tumor. Sensorineural hearing loss root cause is due to a problem with the vestibulocochlear nerve system.
Remembering that Tinnitus is not a disease in and of itself, but a consequence of an underlying condition, correct diagnosis of the condition along with a holistic heath based approach to hearing and immune system support offers the best opportunity for improvement. Curing Tinnitus head noise symptoms can never be achieved by tackling one of the many factors responsible for Tinnitus . If you've ever tried to cure your Tinnitus using a one-dimensional treatment like drugs, herbal supplements or even detox diets and failed it's probably because you have tackled only one aspect.
Surgery should be considered only when there is a clear structural reason for tinnitus that can be improved with surgery. One should only consider surgery for tinnitus if you were diagnosed with a tumor, otosclerosis, or fistula. Fortunately, these conditions are rare. Tinnitus is triggered by multiple internal factors and therefore can only be treated by tackling all of those internal elements responsible for tinnitus and not by masking the noise or by calming the muscles or nerves of the outer ear (as with laser treatments for tinnitus, for example). The only way you can ever cure your tinnitus is by correctly diagnosing your condition from within by listening to what your body is trying to tell you, work with it and free yourself.
